Hi. This is my first ever fanfic, so it'll be rubbish but everyone's got to start somewhere! it's based on Gakuen Alice. Please review, nicely :) Italics are for what people are thinking.

So here I am. The Alice academy. Can't be worse than the orphanage, can it? It's big, very big. But I'm not five, am I? I'll get used to it.

Hi there. I'm Lucy Donelon. I'm 13 years old and have lived at some run down orphanage since I was three years old. The adults at the orphanage told me my dad left me and my mum before I was born, and that my mum died of a drug overdose when I was three. Fab, isn't it? One leaves you the other kills herself because she "can't cope with such an annoying baby" I don't care, I don't know them, and never will. Left me in the care of strangers. The orphanage was horrible, so dirty and the adults never treated us well, they would hit us if we answered back to their evil demands. You can understand why I was so happy this morning when two people in black came to pick me up and take me away to an academy. They have told me that the orphanage had found out about my Alice and because one of them had been to the academy, they new what to do. They also told me all about these Alice's, how they teach children who have these alices to control their powers. I thought they were crazy, but I had to get away from that orphanage, so here I am. Well there is not much more to tell you. Never made any interesting friends or went on any adventures. Just this one right now...

A sensei showed me to a class room, and right then I knew those people weren't crazy. There were people in there doing things I didn't believe people could do. One person seemed to be climbing the walls, while another was hovering off the ground. There were people reading books and messing with little objects, it was so weird. Then the sensei shouted

"Settle down, we have a new student today. She is called Lucy Donelon and has the earth Alice.

Earth Alice? What does that mean?

"The earth Alice? Cool" Said a girl at the front of the class.

"Hey, that's some ace Alice" Said another

"You don't even know what she can do!" Said someone else

"Never mind her Alice, she is hot!" Said some boy

"Yeah, I'd tap that" Said this guy near the middle, then everyone started to laugh. I can't stand this, everyone's looking and pointing, I have to go. So I ran out of the class room.

"Where did she go?" I could hear people asking behind me

"Werdio" I could hear people saying. I knew I'd blown my chance at making friends. Like always, I get too scared when everyone's looking at "the new girl" and run away. Then when I go back to the class, they don't say anything and leave me alone, and from then on I'm known as "lonely Lucy" Typical. I keep running till I see a big Sakura tree, sit under it and close my eyes... but after ten minutes I feel a presence near by.

"Move, this is where I sit." Dam, I always have to pick a seat that someone's already "bagged" Well, if I have no friends, might as well become "bad ass lonely Lucy"

"No" I say

"Move or I will make you" They say

"just tr-" Then I look up and seen a raven haired boy with.. a FLAME coming from his hand? Oh god, I have to pick a fight with the worst people...
