This is a poem I was inspired to write, thinking of the story between Naruto and his father, theYondaime Hokage Namikaze Minato.. I hope all you readers will like it, as much as I loved writing it!

On My Death Bed
Night has fallen; the stars have come out,
And they seem to scorn and laugh at me as my candle dies out.
So much I wanted to tell you,
So much I wanted you to see,
With you standing right beside me.
I wanted to smile, when you took your first step,
I wanted to sing lullabies when I put you to bed,
Everything I knew, I wanted to let you know.
Everything I had, I wanted to show.
My time is running out, but I can't let go.
But the more I hold you here, the more my pain will grow.
How much I love you, words alone cannot speak.
But now, facing death, I feel so small and weak.
My time to depart has come, my death bed waits.
It can't be stopped now. 'Tis too late.
You are a hero, never forget that.
And I hope my disappearance won't change that fact.
Please let me say I love you, my dear beloved son,
For I truly do… my dear little one.
This poem was supposed to be about Minato singing to his son before he dies... T.T
