Small tribute to Severus Snape for his birthday! (January 9)

It's set in my story "It Depends", might want to read that first before reading this.

Elise smirked quietly as she hid behind the giant Christmas tree that was still up in the common room even on January ninth, waiting for Snape to walk it where he was bound to see the extreme shiny wrapping paper she had got for his gift. Come on, Snape

Forty – two minutes in (yes, she counted), she detected a pair of familiar worn out black boots, walking cautiously toward the Christmas tree.

"What in the name of -" The glittering present that had a charm of glitter forming his name looked out of place in the dull background of the green tree skirt.

Picking it up slowly, he began unwrapping it, eyes getting wider and wider with every rip. It was an "Advanced Chemistry Set", huge in size and contains. It has to be expensive. Only someone that would know that I liked potions and knew my father hated it but would approve of muggle chemistry would have bought such a thing for me.

The hussle and bussle of the common room prevented him from noticing the crawling teenager moving away from the tree as he read the carefully written note taped to the box.

"Just something to pass time when you get home. Bound to gain approval from both parties, I think. :) Happy birthday, Severus!"

After a small smile graced his face, he frowned. He was going to find out who would give him such a gift if it was the last thing he did. And then thank them with a gift of his own.
