Snow.

A/n: I'm a rookie at writing Vampire Knight, an I've only read two fanfics in that section, so please forgive me if it sucks.

It was snowing on the night that she lost her memories. The night her memories began. The night Kaname had saved her. The night she grew to love him so dearly. Who would have thought it? She was a pure blood vampire, just like Kaname. She was the adoptive daughter of the Kuran's, and Chairman Cross. Yuuki stared out the window in her castle in England. So far away from home, but safer here. She held out her slender, delicate palm out of the window, and reached out for the tiny snowflakes that melted into what little warmth she gave off. She smiled slightly, remembering how scared she was that night. The snow was red, covered in blood. She did not mind the blood, now. She loved it. It's scent. Its texture. It's taste. Especially the taste of Kaname's blood.

It was like wine. It was like a drug. So addicting, but so wonderful to taste. His blood was all that she ever wanted, or needed. She loved it's smooth, and delicate texture as she drank it.

Yuuki had changed over the 10 years. Her vampire side was dominant now. Her human side was still there, enough where she would never reach the stage of level E. Her hair had darkened, and was a very dark brown. It was longer, and she her bangs up into a braid, letting it flow gracefully. She was thinner, but healthy. And, the most beautiful vampire one has ever seen. Yuuki glanced over to her sleeping husband. He was as beautiful as ever, and loving to. She loved him so much, more than she had when she was still human. Despite his doubts, she had never doubted or hated him, when he told her the truth. The truth of her past. She would love him forever.

He was like the snow. Cold, gentle, and beautiful, that melted into her warm touches and kisses. She would always love the snow, like she would always love him.
