He turned, and he found Arthur with his usual deep blue police uniform, with check stripes under his chest, with his black neck-tie, and with a combining police hat placed on his messy hair.

He replied in a grumpy tone. Arthur smirked.

"You should have more respect now. I'm a rank higher than you."

'How ironical.' Yao thought. Right in front of his eyes, the man that dragged him to the depth of hell, and bound him with chains of addiction and illegal work, was now smiling in front of him, bragging about his ranking in the society.

That you didn't mean it

"I brought you some coffee."

Arthur smiled, and handed the paper mug with the insignia of a green mermaid.

Yao took it and a ghost of a smile appeared in his lips, but soon disappeared.

"Thank you."

The past are memories now

"You are still wearing the green uniform with the black gloves. For how many years are you planning on staying like a general?"

With that, Arthur smirked and turned, and headed to the stairs. And with a last glance to Yao, he added.

"Try your best."

The wind blew again, and with that, many petals of the flowers started to fly away. Yao smiled still looking at the now empty stairway.
