Everyone was huddled around the body that had previously been hit by the taxi. The silence in the air was haunted by the questions on everyone's mind. Would Sebastian Valmont, the notorious playboy of New York, die? Had he truly been in love with his blonde girlfriend? These questions were left unanswered as the ambulance pulled up and lifted the body onto the stretcher, carrying it into the back of the ambulance. Everybody was so distraught that they didn't notice that the ambulance was not headed to Mt. Sinai hospital, but rather than to Long Island to the Valmont Estate. When the ambulance reached its destination, few involved with carrying the passenger were surprised to see him get up on his own accord and walk out. He walked into the home of his aunt and smiled at Blaine. "Well, you certainly got here quickly." Sebastian told him.
"Well you know how it is with those crazy hit and run drivers..." Blaine commented wryly, causing Sebastian to grin. "So, are you going to let Kathryn know the truth? Let alone, everyone besides me?"
Sebastian shook his head. "No. I think I'm going to play with her for a little while, see what I can get. Things are going to get very interesting. Now, I have some work to attend to but thank you for everything, Blaine." Blaine walked out of the mansion having done his part in Sebastian's little game. Sebastian walked into his room, which he had ordered to be left alone and never to be entered. He turned on his television watching the events in Kathryn's bedroom play out.
