"Emma, from the moment I laid my eyes on you, you were all I could think about. That's what let me know that you and I…that we're meant for each other. You are my happy ending, my life is incomplete without you in it." the love of the Savior's life pleaded as they looked into each other's eyes.

"I- I don't know what to say." she stuttered.

"Say that you feel the same way about me."

Emma never took her eyes off them, Henry was just a few feet away. Her mind raced through so many thoughts.

The memories they shared over this past year, after they defeated the Snow Queen, things finally calmed down and she was able to date like normal people.

Although normal isn't quite the correct way to put it.

"I do, I just…You know how complicated it is for me to let someone in. I'm just afraid of getting hurt."

Her love stepped a little closer, taking her hand in theirs.

"I am too. It hurts like hell to lose someone but everything happens for a reason. We went through those painful situations so that we would eventually find each other. And I know you'd never expect me to say these wise words but with all the time I've had, I utilized it by reflecting on all my mistakes."

Emma gave a soft grin, "I believe that too. So what are you saying? You want to take this to the next step?"

"I do."

Her love pulled a small, black box from their pocket and Emma was taken by surprise.

She gasped, covering her mouth as her eyes began to water.

Her love opened the box, "Emma Swan, will you do me the honor of becoming my wife?"

Through tear-soaked hands, Emma was able to say yes.

After the ring was slipped onto her finger, she wrapped her arms around her love, holding them close.

"You were the only person who could always see through my mask. At first I thought it was weird but as our relationship progressed, I knew it was love. You make me smile when no one else can and you never fail to see the potential in me. Thank you."

She gave them a gentle kiss on the lips.

As she pulled away, her love couldn't help but wear this bright smile.

"I could say the same thing about you. I wore a mask for so long but you could see through it. You knew when I was troubled, you knew when I needed someone in my corner. You've never failed to be the sunlight during my dark days. And for that, I can't help but say thank you and I love you with all my heart."

Those words, their confession of love for each other, it was inevitable to resist kissing each other once more.

This time when their lips met, a spark of light shined from the both of them.

Henry watched in awe, "It's true love's kiss!" he shouted in excitement.

They both looked at the young teen cheering and just shared a soft laugh.

"I love you too."

Emma replied as they began walking home from Granny's, Henry walking a few steps ahead of them.

Just a simple one shot. I will not reveal the name of Emma's love. Use your brains to figure it out. It's quite simple, really.
