As days went in the hospital, Gwen showed no signs of wanting to wake up. Everyone was there waiting for her to awake. Even Justin and Heather were there. The doctors were even starting to worry about her health more than usual. Trent and Duncan never left her side. As being in the hospital Trent had found out that Gwen and Duncan have went to the same school since elementary school and hung out with the same people.
After a couple more days of painfully waiting she woke up. She didn't remember anything at all. Except Duncan, her brother, and her mom. People wondered why she remembered Duncan over Trent. The doctors all thought it could have been because she subconsciously likes Duncan and did not know this. Trent still loved her though and was not going to lose the girl he cares for most to a juvenile delinquent with a killer mohawk. Trent tried for a long time and her memory started to return. One day when shopping together to try to trigger her memory more. They ran into 'HER'. Gwen left like she didn't know what happened and went to Duncan and told him she remembered. She remembered Total Drama Island and how she was attacked. Duncan helped though.
Trent at the time was hooking up with Heather when Gwen needed him the most. She remembers him being unfaithful. Her heart though still yearns for him. A few months after getting her memory back, Courtney commits suicide, leaving a note blaming Trent for it. The autopsy showed she was 5 months along in pregnancy and Trent was the father of this child that will no longer be.
For the longest time Duncan wouldn't even talk to any one. Gwen though coaxed him out of it and he started to fall for her. Trent was no longer in their life. Thinking back, they both admit they liked each the back in junior high but he got sent to juvie. Gwen didn't mind for they were now married. Trent never stopped loving Gwen though.
After Duncan and Gwen got married, everything was fine. Trent would come by to say hello and visit for a bit. After some time the visits got odder. He started doing things by nines and bringing Gwen nine of everything. Nine roses, nine piece of chocolate hearts. All nines. After awhile it was getting freaky. Duncan filed a complaint on Trent but it never stopped.
One day after work, Gwen came home to see that Trent was there and Duncan had shopping duty that night and wouldn't be home till late. Gwen tried to get to a phone but Trent stopped her. Nine punches to the face and nine to the stomach. The doctors later conclude she had nine broken bones. He took Gwen and physically attacked her. He kept on telling her she was worthless.
When Duncan reached the home he noticed something was off. Trent's car was parked in the long driveway. The first thing he did was called the cops on his cell phone.. It took nine months to get better. Gwen got the help she needed and locked Trent up for life. They were never they same after that.
