Unexpected Visitor
Winry let out a sigh, and hung up her jacket in the closet. It would be good to sleep in her own bed, her own room, after so many days away. She could hear the Briggs-soldiers doing whatever they wanted downstairs. The girl was going to go down to make them something to eat soon. She just wanted to change her clothes first.
Her thoughts went out to the one boy she loved. Edward Elric. Just some days ago had they been told that he was missing. Disappeared from the North without a trace.
She almost had her T-shirt over her breast when she stopped, the feeling of someone watching her taking a big grip at her. She turned her head toward the table in the room, and found the one staring at her. Golden eyes shined into blue ones. Golden filled with shock and a little fear. Edward's golden. In his right hand he held a forgotten piece of bread.
Winry's eyes stared at her childhood-friend. Her mind froze for a moment, except from one thought; should she take her T-shirt off or leave it on?
Then, two screams sounded through the whole house.
