Snow.
It's snowing.
I grabbed my hoodie and put it on. I watched every person walked by as I waited.
Odd.
She's not here yet.
I looked up as I felt tiny snowflakes falling on my face. It's cold, but I like it.
A strong gust of wind blew, making me turn to my right.
There she was. Looking up to heaven as the wind gently swayed her hair. I admired her beauty as she look at me.
Badump. Badump.
I had the urge to approach her and yet I have no courage to do so.
I'm just a mere stranger.
She looked away and started to walk away from her previous spot. The next thing I knew is that I'm following her already.
I stopped behind a bush, watched her as she sit on a bench.
"Wha-?!"
I wiped off the snow on my face and looked around for the one who threw the snowball at my face.
"Pfft.. HAHAHA."
Two little boys were suppresing their laughs. I smirked before forming a snowball. Before I knew it, we were already having a snowball fight. We were so noisy but she didn't give a damn, instead she took out her book and began reading.
I continuously threw snowballs to the boys, same as what they're continue to do. I formed a bigger snowball and targeted one of the boys, I put a lot of force in it before releasing it.
"Aahh!"
A high pitched scream was heard. An expression of both shock and irritation was shown on her beautiful face. She turned around and shot deadly glares at me.
Poof.
There goes first impression.
She picked up her book and slowly removed the snow that covered it and her hair and began to walk away. When I finally came back to my right senses, I chased her and reached over her right shoulder.
"H-Hey, sorry about tha-"
She threw a snowball at my face and ran away from me giggling. I smirked as I chased after her again, but this time I'm determined to hit her again. Soon enough, the two boys began to join our little chasing and snow throwing game.
"Bye!"
The boys waved goodbye as they enter their car. I watched the car drove away then I looked at her.
She was looking at the sky again, letting the snowflakes fall gracefully on her face. Unconsciously smiling. She noticed me staring at her so she raised an eyebrow at me before turning to look away.
"I finally see you smile."
She looked at me, shocked.
"What?"
"Nothing."
I said as I smiled at her sweetly.
"My name's Gray, Gray Fullbuster."
"I'm Lucy Heartifilia."
A/N: I don't own Fairy Tail! Anyway, I wrote this last year and posted this here last April under a different show. I deleted it and republished it under Fairy Tail now because I think GrayLu fits this one shot better. Also, this is for those who are supporting my Breaking the Rule (RoLu) story. Thank you!
