Hello! This idea just randomly came into my mind after reading quite a number of stories in the site. The chapters are really gonna be this short, so sorry if that bothers you. :(

"Who the hay is talking?!"

Rainbow Dash and Sonic were at the library talking to each other about stuff, until they got bored and decided to do some random things.

Rainbow Dash: Those rings must be awesome, since they give you power.

Sonic: Of course, besides chili dogs, rings are probably one of the best things to ever be invented.

Rainbow Dash: Are you sure you're going to be alright defeating Dr. Eggman alone?

Sonic: Oh come on, what kind of question is that? Of course! I've defeated Dr. Egghead many times before, this time, it will be no different.

Rainbow Dash: Just be careful, alright? Promise me.

Sonic: Fine. I promise.

Applejack heard the whole conversation, and went inside the library, displaying a look of confusion on her face. Rainbow and Sonic heard her close the door, and turned their heads to look at her. "Sorry for interruptin', but why are y'all talking like that?"

The two shared the confusion she was having. Rainbow spoke up. "What do you mean, Applejack?"

Applejack replied, "Ya sounded kinda… monotone… were y'all readin' a script or something?"

Sonic was rather impressed. "We actually were! We were just reading lines from this book." He handed Applejack the book. He grinned. "You gotta read it. It's way past cool!" he gave her a thumbs up and winked.

Applejack blushed lightly. She wasn't used to somepony or someone randomly winking at her. She blinked a couple of times after she dazed off. "Uhhh anyways… is Twilight here?"

"She's not here Applejack." Rainbow Dash said.

"Oh. Hey Sonic, can ya help me find her? But can we just walk? I want to talk to ya while searching, get to know ya better." Applejack said.

"Why walk?" Sonic frowned, but decided to agree anyway. "Okay, maybe just this once." Applejack smiled.

Rainbow Dash quickly approached the two. "I'll go with you guys! With an extra pair of eyes, it will be easier to find her."

"Are ya sure that's the only reason?" Applejack smirked.

Rainbow blushed. "W-whatever. Come on, let's go!" She and Applejack went out first.

Sonic just stood there for awhile, thinking. What was that about? He shrugged, and went out of the library.
