The days are cold but I don't really notice it. I have been travelling for days and yet all I have had to eat is a couple of slices of bread which had become stale and tough. My stomach urned for water, my mouth being so dry I could not even utter a single word.
Finally I just collapsed, my knees had already threatened to give way several times but i kept pushing forward. Everything around me was a blur, my head was spinning and felt like any moment it would come off. I would have sick if I hadn't got such an empty stomach. I was going to die, here and now I just knew it. I was going to die.
