"R-Ryoko!" Ryoshi gasped as Ryoko pressed her lips onto his. What... Is this a dream? He asked himself unbelievingly. Why all of a sudden? He couldn't think straight, he just stood there, eyes open in shock as his dream girl kissed him. She pulled away and her warm chocolate eyes opened, hidden deeply behind them was an expression mixed with confusion and another emotion not even she could place. Why didn't he kiss back? She didn't understand. She put her head down, hiding her face behind her bangs, hoping to erase herself from her spot in the road, praying she would blend into the darkness that surrounded the two. Embarrassed, she turned away, her hair following her in a sudden jerky, whispy trail. But, before she could continue dashing off, she heard a shout behind her. "Ryoko! Wait!" then she felt a gentle grasp on her shoulder. She turned around, ready to hit the culprit, but before she could, he kissed her.
Now she was the one speechless. Luckily, it didn't take long to get over it. She fluttered her eyes closed and kissed back. His kiss was nothing like she expected, so unlike how that white haired menace kissed her. Ryoshi kissed her gently and softly, and as shameful as it was for her to admit it, she loved it. It was the most blissful thing she had ever felt, and she didn't want it to be over already. Ryoko kissed him slower, and fully. Ryoshi couldn't help but smile, it was real, that single thought made him the happiest man alive. He kissed her for one last time, then pulled away. All while locking his dark green eyes onto her beautiful dark brown ones. With foreheads touching, Ryoshi gently asked, "Ryoko... Why now? W-why have you waited?" Ryoshi asked, his eyes faltering downwards, slightly uneasy from the eye contact. Her gaze, too, flicked hesitantly towards the dimly lit road, but then lifted back up to Ryoshi's. "I... Just... Thanks... For saving me from Shiro..." Her voice lowering at the last part of her slow, stuttery sentence. Then with that, she pushed her mouth back onto his, slightly surprising him. He grinned, and put his hand to her cheek, slightly moving him even closer to her.
