Chapter 1
It was an early summer morning in The Woods of Light. Rayman had just finished collecting Red Lums when he heard the shrill voice of Murphy. He went over to a Stone of Thought and looked in. Murphy came out. "I have some terrible news, Rayman!" Murphy chattered frightened. "What is it, Murphy?" Rayman asked. "The King of the Teensies has been captured!" Murphy exclaimed. "Which one is the king? They're always fighting over who it is!" Rayman argued. "That's just the thing! No one knows! He was captured by Admiral Razorbeard!" Murphy went on. "But I thought we got rid of Razorbeard for good! How did he escape?" Rayman figured. "From my calculations, one of his henchmen missed your attack and escaped. From what I know, he must have let Razorbeard out of his cage! I have to go now, Rayman. Maybe Ly could be of some assistance. She is probably at the Fairy Glade. Go now! Save the Teensie King!" Murphy yelled, and was gone. I wonder if Ly knows which Teensie was the Teensie King. Maybe Globox could help too.
Globox had been near the exit with three of his 650 children. He was telling them the story of how he and Rayman met.... for the 60th time! "Globox! How many times have they heard that story? C'mon! I'm going to the Fairy Glade to find Ly. Something terrible has happened!"
*Kari walked into something that looked like a forest. There were many little swirling lights in a lake full of clear water. She decided to hop into one. WOOAAH! It was a warp of some kind. When she looked up, she saw a little green bug looking thing in her face. She gasped. "Wh- Who are you?" she asked a little scared. It answered. "I am Murphy! I will be your help and guide through this land. Do you have any questions for me?" he said. "Uhhh...yea! Where am I? How did I get here? Oh! I'm so sorry if I'm bombarding you with questions!" Kari said. "Hey, no problem! They don't call me the 'Flying Encyclopedia' for nothing you know! You are in the Primordial Core. You got here through the warp in The Hall of Doors. You are here to help in conquesting." Murphy explained to Kari. And he was gone. Conquesting? Kari walked a little further into this land. There was a little stream up ahead with a waterfall at the end. She saw a little yellow ball of light with wings. She walked over and touched it. It began to absorb into her body! Once again, Murphy came out. This time she couldn't talk back. Only listen. "These yellow lights are called Yellow Lums. If you collect 50 in each land, a Teensie will bring you to a new land." he said, then left. A Teensie? Where in the world am I? Just then, a ship flew up above her. It was a pirate ship. A pirate-looking thing yelled something. All of a sudden, a flying bomb hit her.....*
"Whoa! What a dream!" Kari yelled as she woke up. That had to have meant something! It felt so real! Like I was actually there! She went over to see if her brother, Tai, was awake. Of course, he was still sleeping. She couldn't wait to see his response when she told him about her dream!
