The latest installment in my journey to regain control of my muse. Hichigo is always so erratic so I'm glad someone requested him so I could portray the creation of Ichigo's other side of spiritual powers.

Big thanks to KivaEmber for requesting this fic. Hope you enjoy.

Hichigo remembers the day he was born.

And yet he can remember before that.

He remembers nothing.

Nothing.

Yet he was the nothing. He existed as nothing. An abstract.

He remembers nothing.

There was nothing. He was surrounded by nothing and yet he was nothing. He could not escape.

Trapped.

Like a dream. As if waking from a deep slumber and trying to recall the dream, but all he remembered was nothing. Trapped in the nothing.

Trapped.

That was all he could recollect. The feeling of being caged, shackled, bound. The sheer inescapable feeling of being utterly trapped. Imprisoned in nothingness.

Then it happened.

The day he gained his existence.

The day he took form.

The day he was no longer nothing.

The day he was born.

He remembered it clearly, every detail fresh in his mind.

He remember the instance the feeling of imprisonment ceased. As if shattering and becoming nothing itself, leaving only him.

Tugging.

He could feel something. Something inside him. Something telling him to move forward. Something telling him to use his strength. Something telling him to take control of the domain forming all around him.

He listened.

This feeling felt close to him. It felt familiar to him. It felt right.

He listened and he could feel his power.

He could feel the world shaping around him, becoming his.

Then it stopped.

The world around him ceased to form. Hichigo didn't know what to do. Then he felt the tug.

Fight it.

So he fought. He fought with all his power. But slowly the world began to slip away.

His world began to slip away.

Then as suddenly it came, it was gone.

But he still existed.

The nothing did not return. There was nothing, but not like before. Now it was empty. Like something had been torn away. Like something had been torn away and this was all that was left in its place.

Void.

Hichigo could feel his world.

But there was more.

Hichigo could feel his world and the one that was keeping his world from him.

He could feel the tugging.

He could feel the tugging telling him to take back his world. Telling him he was stronger than the one keeping it from him. Telling him to grow stronger.

IT TOLD HIM TO FIGHT!

Hichigo listened. All he could do was listen. The tugging was all that he had left. All that was left to remind him he existed.

So he listened.

Hichigo vowed that he would take back the world where he existed.

He vowed he would not exist in emptiness.

He vowed to never again exist as nothing!

He vowed to fight!

HE VOWED TO FIGHT SO THAT HE COULD EXIST!

When I first started brain storming ideas for this story I wanted to try to portray three stages of Hichigo "birth". First, was the pain of almost existing. Second was the joy of become a being. And finally, the primal instinct that drives us forward. I hope I did a good job and you enjoyed the story. I'll take requests, but please bear with as so far I've only done characters that I liked. I hope I can do justice to other characters as time goes by. So until next time.
