"Hey, Carls." Sam and Freddie say which made my heart beat even faster. I was standing at the kitchen table tossing a salad when Sam walked over to me and placing a hand on my back asked,

"What's wrong, you've been acting weird all day." I heard the concern in her voice but felt a pang of hurt when I realized she didn't remember. Before I could confirm my suspicions she looked behind me and said,

"Something's burning."

"Ahh damn it the lobster." I yelled as I ran over and turned down the heat on the stove.

"Why are you making lobster and where's Spencer?" Sam asked coming up behind me. When I turned around she was right in front of me only a few inches away. I looked behind her to see that Freddie was watching something on the TV and not paying attention to me or Sam.

"It's November fifth please tell me you remember what today is." I pleaded feeling the way I always felt when Sam was around, vulnerable but at the same time safe.

"Kevin Jonas' birthday?" she quipped until she realized I was serious and said,

"Of course I remember what today is. How could I forget the day my life became perfect. It's our anniversary." I smiled but before I could reply the doorbell rang and Freddie answered it to reveal a man with a bouquet of flowers in has one hand and a box of chocolates in the other.

"Delivery for Carly Shay."

"I'm Carly Shay." I said stepping forward and looking from Sam to Freddie. I signed the paper and smelling the flowers searched for the card.

"No card" I said laughing at Freddie's face while putting the flowers and chocolate on the table.

"What guy would send you flowers?" Sam asked before I could reply Freddie was at the door and as he was leaving yelled behind him,

"I don't know but I'm gonna find out." I heard the door slam behind me as my eyes met Sam's and before long our lips met also in a searing kiss.

"There's something else." She said breathless when we had pulled away.

"More?" I asked surprised. I became more surprised as Sam reached in her pocket and pulling out a single key asked,

"I know it won't happen until school ends but Carly will you move in with me?"

"Yes, but why don't you move in here?"

"Because I already rented us an apartment." I pulled her into another kiss that was interrupted by a timer going off indicating that dinner was done. I grabbed Sam's hand and pulling her with me said,

"Let's eat."
