Evelyn was dropped off at the New York Foster Home 12 years ago. She was now 14. She didn't miss her parents because she was never old enough to remember them, but every now and then she would get flashbacks of kind faces hovering over her.

One day she was walking back to the hell hole she called home, and someone had knocked her into the middle of the busy streets of Manhattan. An obnoxiously loud truck came speeding toward her! Evelyn was frozen in fear. She covered her eyes expecting the worst to come

Whoosh!

Evelyn was lifted up into the air as quick as lightning. She was breathless! There was no way her brain could comprehend what had just happened.

"Put me down!" She gasped, as her eyes rolled to the back of her head.

When Evelyn woke up, there were dozens of wires connected to her.

She had a headache and her vision was very fuzzy. As she sat up a series of loud beeps came out of the machines that were surrounding her. Evelyn tried to put her hands over her ears, but realized she was restrained by the many wires attached to her arms and chest.

"Get me out of here!" She screamed!"

"Miss, please settle down, Mr. Stark is on his way" a robotic voice calmly replied

"Who are you? Let me go!"She hollered yet again

"Miss I am JARVIS, and as I said before, please settle down." JARVIS answered in an automated tone.

As soon as the door opened, the loud beeping ceased . The billionaire, Tony Stark had just entered the room.

"Hello I'm Tony, and welcome to Stark Tower." He said as he reached out to shake her hand

"I know that" she quickly retorted.

"Oh yeah, I guess you would." He sighed as he scratched his head. "Now tell me your full name, age, and your address , so we can get you back to where you belong."

"My name is Evelyn Alice Moore, I'm 14," she paused, taking a deep breath "And I live at the New York foster home

"Oh, I'm sorry." Tony replied awkwardly. "Well, how about getting out of those wires." He smirked. Without waiting for a response, he walked out of the room.

Tony shortly returned with two new people that she recognized immediately, Pepper Potts and Bruce Banner Aka the Hulk.

Pepper went over to grab her hand which Evelyn immediately pulled away. Banner on the other hand went directly toward one of the machines she was hooked up to, and stared at it intently with his fist under his chin as if it was a piece of modern art.

Stark walked over to Banner and whispered something in his ear. Bruce nodded, then turned to Evelyn

"So, Your name is Evelyn, right?" He asked.

Without meeting his gaze, she grunted "Yeah."

"Well Evelyn let's get you unhooked, shall we?" Bruce asked as he gingerly pulled her arm off her chest.

After being released from the wires, Pepper had directed Evelyn to the bathroom closest to the makeshift hospital.

As soon as Evelyn had locked the door and heard Pepper walk away, she sunk to the floor, pulled her self into a ball, and stared to cry.

"Hey, are you okay in there?" Tony asked as he knocked on the door.

"Go away!" Evelyn sobbed

"It's okay, Evelyn, come out, and we can talk about this." Tony calmly replied

"I said leave me alone!" She hollered back.

"Happy get the keys." Tony demanded

Click! The door popped open.

Tony and Happy rushed in and kneeled next to her

Suddenly Evelyn got a piercing pain behind her eyes. She slammed her body against the ground and screamed.

Zap! Pow!

Lightning shot out of her fingertips and eyes

Then she blacked out.
