Chapter 1: Tide's Edge

This was thought of because I saw a fanfic of Ursula fighting Sora and there was 4-chan involved, enough said.

Ages are around 9 to 10 ish for the Gang and Ursula is around 15ish…her appearance will be explained later when she is old and…urg…

The sun was blazing down as always upon the children at play. There were two boys, Sora and Riku. They would constantly spar with each other trying to best each other in favor of impressing Kairi, a girl who recently appeared on the Islands. However on this particular day, Sora had beaten Riku…

Sora's POV

"Sora you jerk! Why did you have to cheat to beat Riku!?" Kairi was not at all happy with the fact that her cool hero Riku had lost to Sora. 'Because Riku is too cool to lose!' "Come on Riku let's do something without this cheater!"

"Kairi… 'Na, its just Sora.' "Yea lets go…" Riku as always was playing his part of the cool dude…=[ and ran up to Kairi and they left together.

And with that Sora was left alone along the shore side all by himself. It was not fair at all to Sora, he had beaten Riku fair and square, yet Kairi chose to side with him. 'Why does Kairi like him so much more than me?' As the sun was beating down on Sora he had decided to relocate himself to the water and the tide had receded so he sat down on the soft, wet sand.

Somewhere Else in an Ocean….

"Get the witch!" "She deserves to be fed to the sharks!" and simply "Witch!" were heard all across the Ocean known as Atlantica. A young mermaid known as Ursula [she actually hated her name in secret] was always hated as she was different [she hated the music and dances when they could be improving their lives] and not as pretty as the other sea creatures and sea people. To change this she became an apprentice to two eels that had promised to teach her magic and gave her a nice grotto to live in safety, which was broken this one day.

Fleeing her home and all she had come to learn she dashed out into the open sea, staying only to say goodbye to her mentors.

"We have one last gift to give you Ursula, seeing how poorly your own kind has treated you we have decided to tell you a secret. If you swim far enough there is a group of Islands…

END OF Flashback

She had to find these islands, the eels had promised her she would find all she needed…

Sora's POV

'and a paopu fruit will be shared between us one day…' Sora had fallen asleep on the sand's edge with the clash of the ocean's coolness and the sun's heat had pushed him to sleep blissfully unaware…
