Snake woke up from a nap feeling a little groggy still. It had been a long night of work as he prepared for the heist of a lifetime. Stress, anxiety and a full night awake had taken their toll. Even after a five hour nap on an extraordinarily comfortable couch Snake still felt exhausted.

Plissken shuffled into the kitchen and took a drink of milk from the jug. He yelled at the kids for doing it but now he understood the desire too. His laziness knew no bounds at the moment. Even groggy the sound of feet on the stone floor attracted his attention.

"You scold the children for that."

Plissken looked between his wife and the milk jug he was screwing the lid on. Looking down he smiled and chuckled from the embarrassment. He didn't know how but she could make him blush sometimes. He pushed the milk back into the fridge and smiled feeling the warm hand on his bare back. Her chin rested on his bicep where he was using his arm to brace himself up.

The smile on her face was nothing but trouble. She produced a chocolate dipped strawberry seemingly from nowhere.

"These would go nicely with your milk." Instead offering it to him she bit it. There was a way to that bite. It was an action that had nothing to do with food.

"I'm sure it would baby." Snake lowered his arm and pulled it tight around her waist. She offered him a second strawberry and pulled it away when he tried to take it.

Plissken shook his head. He grabbed her wrist with his free hand and bit the strawberry. That only caused her to giggle. She so rarely laughed let alone the near girlish giggle that she was trying to stifle. Snake kissed her lightly wrapping his other arm around her. That one laugh was enough to convince him he wasn't tired anymore.
