Plissken looked between the cloaked man and his companions. The young woman brought a brief smile and she blushed under his attention.
"What you paying?" Plissken asked as he lit a cigarette and got more comfortable in the booth.
"What do you charge?" The man was trying to put the questions back on him. It instantly put Plissken on edge.
"Now that's all going to depend on what sort of trouble you got. Tell me and I'll name your price." Snake wasn't about to be backed into a corner.
"The trouble we have is none of your concern."
"None of my concern huh?" Snake shot back getting sick of this conversation.
"Yes." The older man replied.
"Then neither is your protection." Snake's cocky voice caught the attention of a second younger man who came up.
His manner visibly perturbed the older man. The Gungan as he called it joined them at the table. It swaggered and Plissken didn't care for the way it never seemed to sit still.
"I'm not exactly sure who is following us yet."
"Alright, now we're getting somewhere." Snake leaned forward as the drink came. Fruit hung from the edge of the glass and Plissken was looking forward to savoring it when the conversation hit a break. "What's got you in trouble?"
Snake looked over the group. It was rag tag. They didn't seem to match up. "You run away slaves or something?"
"Or something." The dealing man commented.
"Hmmm." Snake wasn't interested.
"My people can reward you handsomely for your services." The woman was getting involved and Plissken found that just fine. He'd rather deal with her.
"How much?" Snake eyed the creature who had taken interest in his yet untouched drink.
"More than you can imagine."
"Sweetheart, I can imagine a whole lot." Snake couldn't help but flirt with the blushing young girl
That all stopped when something shot past. Snake's eye tracked it to see the fruit missing from his drink. His eye swiveled over to the creature that was chewing and then smiled.
"No, deal." Snake glared at the creature debating if taking the job just to drop it in the Sarlac would be worth it.
Snake's lunch came and before he could take a bite the creature's tongue was in it. He was tired of this all and drew his blaster. One shot was all it took and the creature dropped from the chair.
"I'm not interested in your deal." Snake stood to leave.
"How could you?" The young woman seemed really upset and Snake just shrugged.
"You're better off without him sweetheart." Snake smiled at her before walking off. That had been enough annoyance to last him and entire week.
