The Locket

Cat Noir P.O.V.
It was near the end of the battle, all we had to do was break the damn locket and capture the akuma. She decided to open it first though, as she looked I saw a tear slide over her mask and down her cheek. In that split second that it took for the tear to travel half way down her cheek Mother Beast escaped from her makeshift jail. "My Lady!" I shouted trying to warn her but it already had her pinned, I didn't know what to do! I had to save her; she couldn't get hurt or die if that happened I'd be ashamed of myself. She's my best friend, the love of my life and the only one who truly knows me. Through my blur of panicked thoughts I remembered Cataclysm. So with my hand charged with power I ran towards them. With so much panic inside me I punched Mother Beast hard as I could, it just simply crumbled and it was over. Ladybug was going to yell at me, but I don't care she's safe. Wanting to know what cost My Lady a tear I take a peek inside the locket. Within the locket was a photo of me as Adrien and my mother. My brain filled with self hatred and I took off running don't know where I'm going, but I run.

This is my first attempt at a fanfic, so let me know what you think and if you want me to continue with this story because I have a couple ideas.
