Chapter one: The Beginning

The story begins long ago on an island off the coast of Ireland. The islands name is Dakara, on Dakara people have advanced far along the evolutionary path. They have obtained abilities to control the elements (e.g. fire, earth). The people on the island feared other humans for they knew that the human race was too young to understand the abilities the Dakarans had and would try to kill them. So they hid the Island from all.

The Dakarans started building their capital city and they also named it Dakara. Many villages were spread across the island split by what elements the villagers controlled. The Dakarans are a war like people; they've mastered in sword techniques and other hand to hand combat. The Great city houses all elements and the King, who was very good to his people. But one day he mysteriously died. A new king was appointed; it was the kings' brother. King Malek was a different kind of king; he didn't gain the respect of the people by kindness but by fear and domination.

The story now takes a look at the water village. Where we meet a young girl named Vala; she has the ability to control water in any form. Vala was beautiful; she had long black hair, brown eyes and the perfect body. She grew up with her three older brothers and two older sisters. Being the youngest wasn't easy for her, her parents couldn't afford to put her in training to help her develop her powers. She was picked on by the other kids in the village. She soon took it upon herself to learn what she could by teaching herself. She went to the library and started to read everything she could find that would help her use her powers. She would pick fights with the other kids to learn what they could to do. She never lost against the same person twice. The Other kids soon stopped teasing her and let her join their group. Vala had always been a survivor; so when she grew up and left the house to find her own place she did with ease and opened a Book store to help others like her who couldn't afford to send their children to training school to learn the basic. She did this for years, and was getting tired of the same old thing over and over again. She was about to close shop when a man appeared on the floor, wounded. She quickly ran over to him and turned him over. She checked to see if he was still breathing, she ran upstairs to get some bandages. She came back down; started to clean the wound and bandaged him up. She thought for a moment "where did he come from?" She dragged him up stairs and put him in bed. She stayed at his side all night, where she fell asleep in the chair. In the morning the man woke up. "Where am I?" he wondered. Woken by the sound of the man's voice she looked up and their eyes meet; it was love at first sight. "Where am I?" The man said again. "You're in a village on the island of Dakara, she responded." "I've never heard of Dakara before; is it far from England?" "No it's not", Vala said. "Who are you?" she asked. "I'm Jonas" he said with a sigh of pain.
