One's Return

1. Chapter 1

Hey, it's me, sorry I haven't been updating on my other story Seven, Meet the Loric, but I just decided to tell you how One came back. Thought it would give you a better understanding of what I plan with her in future stories. This is going to be more of an AdamxOne story. Enjoy =)

Chapter One

Adam's pov

"We're gonna raid it." Nine says.

"You aren't serious," Sam says. "How do you plan on raiding the Mog home base?"

"Yeah," I point point out. "How exactly do you plan on getting in there without being noticed? I mean, it isn't like you can just stroll in there and say, 'I'm here to get Mog information. Lead me to the records'"

"Please, Adam," Nine says sarcasticly "That could never work."

We all look at him expectantly.

"That's why we have our very own Mog." He nods to me.

"No," I shake my head, and urgent look on my face. "No, no, no. They would shoot me in an instant."

"Yeah, come on, Nine," John says. Finally, he agree's with me on something. "You don't seriously think that he can just walk in there, and expect them to just let him through."

"Oh, Johnny boy, I do."

"Sam?" John says.

We all look at him. If he sides with us, I stay, if he goes with Nine, well, I'm done for.

"Well," He stutters. "I mean... It-it does seem like our only option."

I pull back as Nine laughs triumphantly. "Get ready Mog-boy."

I pause:

One squints at me, thinking. "Your name is Adam, right?"

"How do you know that?"

She smirks. "We're sharing a brain, Mog-boy. Guess that means I know a thing or two about you, too."

The flashback hurts. I tried so hard to forget her. But then again, she isn't someone you can just forget.

Then I remember: One's body is somewhere in there. Last time I was here was the last time I saw her. I told her I loved her. Then she left forver.

"Adam" Nine's voice brings me back into reality. "You okay? I think you actually got paler for a minute." He smiles.

"You okay, Adam?" John says.

"Yeah, fine." I force a smile.

Oh-kay. Hope you guts liked it. I know it was kind of short, but the next one will be longer. Promise. Also the next chapter will be in One's pov. Yay! Hopefully it will explain more of how she came back, but to be honest, I'm not even sure I know how she came back. Soo, I'll see how that works. Please comment, I love hearing what you guys think!
