Disclaimer: Grey's Anatomy isn't mine—sadly. Addison would have been there since the beginning if I owned G's A.

A/N: My little Shepherdic Method in which I experimented with a relationship. Fun, yeah?

The Shepherdic Method, in Three Parts

(i) – kodak the stained scrubs

You find her terribly amusing in the morning when she grasps around for her stethoscope—even if you've reminded her constantly that she didn't need it at all, and the both of you exchanged your daily dose of the stethoscope wars. Although her dropping the coffee on your foot and spilling it on your blue scrubs wasn't the funniest thing in the world—your fellow intern Preston thought it was amusing, though, since he broke out laughing while staring at the large coffee stain on your scrubs as he was watching one of Webber's surgeries.

Addison Kodak'd that strange day.

(ii) – when in doubt, run to the nearest attending

You know Webber thinks of the both of you as the never-outgrowing thorns on his already painful side, and while the two of you took it jovially in stride, the both of you respect Richard Webber's surgical skills. It was his love life, or lack thereof, that bothered you. So, initially, asking for any courtship tips is a bad idea. She is an upper-class girl, you are constantly reminded, and she was heavily trained in the profession she choice; neonatal wasn't easy at all.

But you recognize the skills Richard Webber has with a heart, and you acknowledge them nonetheless.

(iii) – never get married at las vegas; people smoke

He was still Derek Shepherd, that overly "McDreamy" neurosurgeon of Manhattan, New York.

But now, she was Addison Forbes Montgomery-Shepherd, one of the best, if not the best, neonatal surgeon in the country.

It's funny though, because now Addie's sick.

But since McDreamy never knew that his McHot wife was "McAllergic" to smoke, it wasn't his fault.

Entirely.

Okay, so he had insisted on the Las Vegas wedding.

But he'd dreamt of Las Vegas for so long—had that been so, so bad of him?

Addie looked up at him, touched his face, and smiled.

"I love you," she said.
