Edward/Bella

This day couldn't be more perfect. I was with Bella, the girl of my dreams. I had taken her to the meadow, a place I had stumbled upon whilst hiking, it was so beautiful, however, in comparison to Isabella Swan, it was quite bland. It was our first date, of sorts, and there we were, under the sun, laughing, joking, and suddenly…kissing. My heart raced, and she blushed as we pulled apart, my skin was on fire.

"Bella Swan, you are perfect." I mumbled, kissing her again. This was how it was meant to be.

A few years later…

She walked down the isle towards me, and my adopted sister, Alice, trailed behind in her bridesmaid dress, my attention was entirely captivated by my future wife. She was beautiful, her skin was pale white as always however as she saw me her cheeks flushed, her hair curled elaborately and the dress…wow. She looked even more stunning than usual. That just made me even more nervous. I reached out to take her hand, would she notice that it was sticky with nervous sweat? And then I didn't care. I didn't care because she was here, holding my hand, pledging herself to me. My heart thumped heavily in my chest and a solitary tear rolled down my cheek as she muttered those two perfect words.

"I do" Her own tears were falling thick and fast.

Our first dance was just as magical. We glided effortlessly, Bella not even stumbling.

"You look stunning, Mrs Cullen" I mumbled into her ears. And the night flew by.

Our honeymoon, was…well a honeymoon, Bella and I fit together like pieces of a puzzle, two halves…well it was all over too soon.

Bella muttered in her sleep, nothing loud, but enough to bring Edward back to reality.

"Edward" she whispered, in her dreams, it was their first real night as a married couple and the best of his existence.

Of course, they weren't the traditional couple, Edward doubted that there had ever been two like himself and Bella, however he loved her, and she loved him, they had both learned the hard way what it was like to live without the other. And Edward wasn't prepared to do that again. Yes, he still thought of himself as bad for her, but they belonged together, whether they were both human, one a vampire, or eventually both vampires. Edward would give in, and secretly, he'd known all along that that was what he had wanted, that's what had scared him, he wanted her so much that he would ruin her existence forever. And strangely enough, she wanted that too.
