SEEKING THAT SILVER LINING

Dean glanced at his sleeping brother as he pulled to the side of the road. He smirked ever so slightly seeing Sam's head lolling, his mouth open, and a silvery dribble of drool shining up the corner of his mouth.
Sliding from the car with stealthy care, Dean rounded shuffled to the front and planted himself on the hood. It sure was no Impala, and he missed his baby like crazy, but it was serviceable. And right now, warmth beneath him was oddly comforting.
Dropping his head back with a sigh, he studied the night sky intently, searching for hope.
