m'laddie
And I'll tell you a tale
Of a ship, The Black
Pearl
With black-colored sails
It had a captain
A single
Jack Sparrow
Who led his crew
Through anything
And his first
mate
A pretty little blacksmith
William Turner
They
sailed the high seas
Collected gold and treasure
Made friends
and enemies
And discovered mutual pleasure
On the ship
The
captain was loyal
But touch upon land
And Will's blood
boiled
Jack Sparrow had a wandering eye
And it followed
anything it spied
Whether it be boy or girl
Whether it be rum
or ale
Anything at all
He would tail
But Will demanded
loyalty
Called the wandering mutiny
Jack just laughed
And
swaggered away
Far too drunk
To try and stay
So Will
found himself alone
Wondering what he did wrong
Maybe it was
something simple
Like fall in love with Jack's dimple
Then it
hit him, plain and hard
Like the song of a drunken bard
He'd
fallen in love with the kook
Captain Jack Sparrow
Will
couldn't believe it
How had he done it?
Fallen for a pirate
He
never would have thought it
But now it seemed clear
What he had
to do
Get away from Sparrow
And the Black Pearl too
In
Torotuga, for a night's stay
Jack was drunk and far away
Will
left the ship
One thought on his mind
This night
He and Jack
would unbind
He followed the beach
Tripping on the sand
Wishing
to be caught
By Jack's rough hand
But he sound his way
To a
rock strewn cliff
A natural bay
For drowning in
He peered
over the edge
At blood-colored stone
Stood at the ledge
And
couldn't even groan
4 final words
For all his future
"I
love you Captain"
And then it was over
He stepped into
air
Falling to water
Stopped when he got there
And was gone
forever
The next morning
Jack got back to his ship
Swaying
and swaggering
And smiling a bit
He asked all around
Where
was his Will?
But no one had seen him
From midnight until
Jack
asked all around
Fear filling his system
Had his blacksmith
drowned?
Slowly news spread
Another soul had fled the
Earth
Of some horrid cliffs
But it didn't hurt the mirth
Until
the poor captain
Discovered who was gone
His precious
Will
Thrown over the edge
By his wandering eye
Silent tear
wiped away kohl
His eyes shown
Filled with pain, dark as
coal
Jack Sparrow disappeared
Hiding in his quarters
The
next morning
When he did not emerge
His crew went
searching
They found him in bed
Covered in crimson blood
His
knife had left him dead
They buried him at sea
Let the water
take his blood
To mix with his love's
The blacksmith
The
pirate
Crimson waters stained and shared
And now the Black
Pearl
Sails on
No captain will they have
The crew pleased
To
serve a ghost
So if ye ever see them
Beware the shadows
For
Sparrow lives on
In the spirit and shape
Of his only ship
The
Black Pearl
Forever Mourning
His blacksmith
