Hi everyone me and a friend of mine had an idea for this story and decided to do it together the story is written by me with lots of ideas from him and the songs are by him all original.

Chapter 1

(EmbryPOV)

The music pounded against my sensitive hearing as I stood with Jake and Quil in the house of the Cullen's, can you believe it? Me! a vampire killing wolf in a house full of vampires, well I say full it isn't actually, just the Cullen's and the very many kids from forks high.

It was a graduation party or something and Jake had dragged us down here to see Bella, though after what he tried to pull earlier I dunno why he would think he was still invited. I mean ok I don't like the fact her boyfriend is a vampire, but he is her boyfriend none the less and if I was her I wouldn't want to see him.

We were stood near the area designated the dance floor I could see several people I recognised from when they came to the rez to surf, but there were quite a lot I didn't know which put me on edge. I don't like being in a room full of people I don't know having Quil and Jake with me is helping a little, and I do know the Cullen's sort of and Bella but there are more people here I don't know.

Jake was looking around for Bella and Quil was checking out several girls that were looking this way, they were quite pretty I guess but not really my type not that I know what that is I just know it aint them.

I mean they look fake and too done up like they are trying too hard to be something there not, their skin looks orange, their hair looks like it needs a good comb and their clothes leave almost nothing to the imagination. Quil smiles at them and they make their way over I cringed. Jake is too preoccupied with looking for Bella to help he knows what I am like with girls. Quil does too but he never seems to care just says I need more practice. He may be right but I don't want to practice with these girls.

A big group pass in front of us before the girls get to us I use that as my chance to get away. I move with the crowd before Quil can comment or the girls see and I can escape from the one who was giving me a very strange look, like she wanted to eat me or something.

I moved into the kitchen and out the back door onto the porch. I knew Jake and Quil would berate me for leaving so I just sat down on the steps and looked out into the forest. I so longed to be out there instead of here.

I sat for some time alone before I heard the back door open. I sighed expecting one of the boys but the footsteps were very soft. I assumed it was a girl. I didn't turn around I wasn't in the mood for company. Whoever it was moved further up the porch and sighed. I stole a quick glance I was right it was a girl quite a beautiful girl.

We will always discover something new

We will attempt to rise above it all

Dark skinned with dark hair and glasses from what I could see. She wasn't wearing much if any makeup she looked natural. Her body from what I could see was quite slim a bit like Bella's, she wasn't stick thin but she wasn't over weight either.

She sighed again and I was just about to ask her what's wrong when the door opened again "Angela there you are" came a boys voice. I automatically turned to face the voice. He was slim long straight hair and glasses, I could easily take him he looked more like a guy who sat behind a screen more than out in the open.

He gave me a small glare before walking over to the girl Angela I think that's what he said. "what's up Eric?" she asked. Eric stole a glance at me I could see it out the corner of my eye I smiled at that. "Why don't you come back inside?" he asked her grabbing her hand and started practically pulling her in even before she could answer. She pulled her hand away and glared at him as she rubbed her hand.

Without saying a word to him she walked past me down the stairs and towards the back of the garden. I watched her walk away half expecting wimpy to follow her but he just huffed and then went back inside.

Seriously that guy is a loser, his girl is obviously upset and goes off in the dark alone and he doesn't follow her, what if something happens to her? I was contemplating following her but then I thought she might get freaked out. I mean she doesn't know me, maybe I should go and get Bella I am sure they are friends or at least she will know who her friends are.

"GET AWAY!" I jumped up that was Angela I was sure of it. No one else was in the back garden as far as I could see and being a wolf I could see pretty damn good. I quickly raced off after her I followed her scent. I had picked up on it when she walked past me earlier. I followed her trail around the side of the house and a little into the forest I wondered why hadn't the guys or even the vamps come out yet the music can't be that loud inside.

This is my moment, this is my chance to seize the moment

I soon found her pinned up against a tree a big fumbling pale face was hold her against it leering at her. He had one hand just under her neck pinning her in place. I could smell the alcohol on him it was strong, he absolutely reeked of it. I could see Angela trying to push him off but even drunk he was stronger than her.

"I mean it Ben get off me" she said so she knew the creep. I crept up slowly behind him, she saw me "Ben get off me now or you will regret it" she warned him as I neared. He laughed "what's a little girl like you gonna do to me" he asked looking her up and down. Angela looked at me again and smirked.

"Oh I won't do anything but the big Quileute behind you will" he turned around. I stood to my full height and crossed my arms across my chest and gave him the meanest glare I could. He actually cowered, he shrank back a little and actually looked scared. I wanted to laugh, but that would of spoilt the image. He quickly backed away from us and ran as fast as his drunk legs could take him.

Once he was far enough away I looked at Angela and we both burst out laughing. There was actual tears in my eyes. "Thank you" she said once she managed to regain her breath I smiled and shrugged my shoulders "I'm Angela" she said holding out her hand.

I smiled again and took hold of it, it was small in mine and felt so smooth "Embry" was all I said she smiled at me neither of us had let go yet. She quickly realised that and took her hand away blushing "you're friends with Bella right?" she asked I nodded "yeah I mean it's fairly recent I met her through Jake".

We started walking back towards the party "is everything ok with you and your guy from earlier if you don't mind me asking". I secretly hoped that guy wasn't her boyfriend, Angela was great and pretty and she defiantly deserved better than him.

"Who Eric? yeah he just annoys me sometimes. I mean I like coming out with my friends and when me and him are alone he can be so sweet and considerate and everything a girl should want, but when we are with Mike and Jessica he acts like he owns me like I am someone's property" I could hear the frustration in her voice.

"Sorry I don't mean to unload on you" she seemed genuinely sorry. "Hey don't sweat it, I honestly don't mind vent away scream and shout if you want too if it will help" I said with a smile she chuckled.

We were in the back garden now and near the steps. I stopped her she looked at me quizzically. "hey I mean it ok if you need someone to talk too, rant at someone you can vent on or even scream at, call me ok everyone needs someone like that and there is no need to be sorry" I said. I luckily had a pen in my pocket and wrote down my mobile number on her arm where she could cover it up as I talked.

Angela smiled "you might be sorry you said that" she chuckled. "I won't I might not be able to answer straight away all the time but just leave me a message and as soon as I can I will get back to you promise" I said as I held open the door for her.

She smiled at me "thanks Embry". She patted my arm. For a second I thought she was gonna give me a kiss but then she just touched my arm and walked inside. I followed her in and found Jake and Quil talking with Bella, he looks like he finally found her but from the looks on their faces something was up. I quickly joined them and groaned, vamps where on the way soon.

I love being a wolf but the downside is the vampires. Now like I said before, the Cullen's are veggies so there ok but the others weren't and it was our job to kill them. Sometimes I wish I could just be a normal teenager worried about girls and other stuff, but no I had to deal with all that and vampires great!

But…there isn't enough time
