A/N: Suleiman was totally flirting with Ezio, don't lie And I know you saw Yusuf's looking awfully dejected in the background. Depending on how the next Memory goes, I may expand on this drabble.

The self-proclaimed Istanbul-born assassin could not help but feel a twinge of jealousy when his beloved Shehzade greeted the aged assassin with such fondness. He did not know what "mio bel menestrello" meant, but from the way it rolled off the young prince's tongue and the sultry smile that followed, he did not like it at all.

Though if Yusuf were to be completely honest, which he was most of the time, what bothered him the most were not the coy words of Prince Suleiman or the playful look he gave Ezio, but rather the fleetingly warm smile the assassin mentor had given him in return. Of all the times Yusuf playfully spoke, or even touched, Ezio, all he had ever received in return was a biting remark and a dry smile.

The younger assassin was certain that Ezio had seen the dejected look upon his face when the aged assassin casually waved him off to speak with the Shehzade in private. This left a bitter taste in his mouth.
