Another Sweeney Todd poem. It's my goal to write one for each of the characters, so more is (hopefully) on the way!

Once again, the character should be clear. This poem came from the line "I know I promised." That line seemed to come instantly into my head when I thought of the character, and the rest flowed.

I know what he is.

What I don't know,
is why I couldn't keep
what I know I promised.

Well? There's a lot of repetition, but I think that gives it the effect I wanted it to have.
