ETERNAL STRUGGLE
I've been so strong
Don't look at my tears,
The dark is swelling
Consuming my years
I cannot let my people know
What I've become
The dark is overshadowing,
My heart is numb.

The voices scream in my head.
All the visions when I sleep,
Are with Hyrule dead.
I cannot go on,
I cannot let go,
All the fears that I've faced,
No one would know.
Zelda laughs,
With her new husband,
Flaunting her ring,
On her wedded hand.
She breaks my heart,
And shoves it away,
But I will pray for her happiness,
For I will be gone the next day.
I will pray for Hyrule,
For the market place,
For the Gorons, and Zoras,
And Saira with her beautiful face.
I pray for the Sages,
Who kept me alive,
But I cannot keep living,
With these memories at my side.
I've played my part,
And saved Hyrule , Do not I deserve peace,
From this evil and cruel world?
I look to Epona,
With her gleaming coat,
And set her free,
Attached to her saddle, a suicide note.
Navi sleeps,
and I let her be,
I close my eyes,
And take my sword from my sheath.
My hands tremble,
As I lift it up,
My worn Master Sword,
Who had also seen enough.
I held it to my chest,
My heart was pounding,
As the blade breaks my skin,
The memories are mounding.
My muffled cry awakes Navi,
And she rushes to me,
I whisper I'm sorry,
But to let me be.
The glow of my friend,
Turns to black,
I close my eyes,
And lay my head back.
My memories are gone,
No longer haunting,
Just a reminiscence of before,
No longer daunting.
Cadged up no more,
I will be free,
In a place with the Goddesses,
Where I can just be,
Me.
