Flying through the Stars
Satoshi watched Kasumi gaze into the fire, which reflected off her hair, making it seem like it actually was fire. Kenji had already gone to sleep. Satoshi absently wondered what Kasumi was thinking.
Kasumi sighed softly. "Satoshi-chan, how old are you?" Kasumi asked in a soft, gentle voice which caressed Satoshi like a cool, fluttering breeze.
"Um... I am 14." Satoshi answered, a bit startled by the gentleness in Kasumi's voice.
"I am 15." Kasumi said. "Have we really been together for four years?"
"Yes." Satoshi said.
Kasumi glanced once more at the fire, and Satoshi still could not read her thoughts.
"Satoshi-chan? Have you ever been kissed by a girl?" Kasumi asked softly.
Satoshi reddened. "No." He said, embarrassed.
"Do you want to be?" asked Kasumi quietly.
"I..." Satoshi was unsure of what to say. Kasumi leaned over towards him and placed her lips gently on his. Satoshi didn't know how to respond to all this.
"Satoshi, you are so inexperienced." Kasumi whispered in his ear as she pushed him away.
"And you are?' Satoshi asked, annoyed.
"You forget I'm older than you, Satoshi-chan." Kasumi said in a quiet but sharp voice.
"Gomen, Kasumi-chan." Satoshi apologized softly.
Kasumi was silent for awhile. She leaned over to Satoshi again, but this time, she didn't give him a peck on the lips. She kissed him passionately, and Satoshi wrapped his arms around her. They were searching for their feelings, searching for their love. Searching for a possibility that they could be together.
Kasumi was the one who started the kiss, and she was the one who ended it.
"Are you okay, Kasumi-chan?" Satoshi asked gently after seeing that she was flushed.
Kasumi nodded slowly. "I was flying through the stars with you." She murmured.
"We passed the moon and touched the sky." added Satoshi softly. He could see the stars, shining brightly in Kasumi's eyes.
"I love you, Satoshi-chan." Kasumi whispered.
"I love you too, Kasumi-chan." Satoshi said softly.
