"Carefully does it." Wanda instructed as Doc removed the last soul from the last of Jared's brothers necks.
Jared was sitting of to the side watching the whole procedure with Melanie holding his hand.
"Okay we are done now all we need to do is see if they respond." Doc said as he turned to the two of them.
Melanie and Jared sat on chairs next to the three beds.
"What do I need to do?" Jared asked his voice betraying the raw emotion he felt.
"Just talk to them about the past like you're telling them about your day." Wanda advised gently.
"And if…if they don't respond?" His voice cracked.
"Then we will bury their bodies outside." Doc replied.
Jared nodded and turned to his brothers, "Do you remember when we were younger and we would steal the sweets from the cupboard and have a midnight feast? Or when there was trouble at school and we'd never tell dad?"
He went on like this for many minutes regaling everyone with stories of his childhood but his brothers did not wake up eventually he turned to Doc and Wanda, "Why won't they wake up?"
Wanda sighed and walked over to them, "Well you remember that Kyle's girlfriend, Jodi, wouldn't wake up-" She cut off with a scream as Jared's brothers had all woken up and each of them were pointing knifes at her. Wanda backed away from them fear evident in her eyes and Jared yelled, "No Alan, Daniel, Karl, Wanda won't hurt you she's nice and one of us!"
His brothers' heads snapped towards him. "Jared?" They said in disbelief.
Jared nodded and his brothers pulled him into a tight hug.
"We're so glad you're okay." They whispered.
"And I'm glad you're okay," he whispered back.
