It has been a week since the night of Dracula's defeat and is now November 8, 1889. Gabriel officially proposed two days ago on a pic-nic down on the beach of the Adriatic Sea at sunset. Anna was so surprised, but she was grateful and thanked him for remembering to take her to see the sea for the first time. He of course was just happy to see HER happy. Carl stayed in the manor digging through various books in the library. Annabelle went to the beach with the couple, but played near the surf of the water building sand castles and tunnels etc. This was the beginning of a happy family.

As the sun filters through the doors of a spacious balcony and the curtains covering them from the inside, it bathes the newly engaged couple in it's warm early morning light. Gabriel wakes and finds his fiance' still asleep with her head in the crook of his arm and her hair in disarray. But she seemed to be smiling at something and he smiled at how adorable she looked. He bends down and kisses her cheek and her eyes flutter open. "Good morning, Beautiful."

Anna smiled and brushed her hair from her face. "Good morning, Fiance'." She replied and giggled. "I don't think I'll ever get tired of that."

Gabriel chuckled. "It's ok. I like the way it sounds coming from you."

She smiled again and stretched her neck up a little pecking his lips. "Lets get dressed and get Annabelle. I wanna go into town and see if we can find a maid to take care of the manor while we're gone."

"Alright." He said and they quickly got up and dressed.

Ten minutes later, they're ready to go and they walk to Annabelle's room across the hall. Gabriel opens the door and finds her awake, but sitting in only panties by her closet. "What are you doing?" He asked shaking his head playfully.

"Waiting for you and Mama to help me get dressed."

"How long have you been sitting there like that?" Anna asked her daughter.

"About five minutes."

"Well, lets get you into something warm. We're going into town this morning to look for a maid to take care of the manor while we're in Rome." Gabriel said and picked her up.

Anna opened her closet and picked out some leather pants similar to her own and a gypsy top also similar except green and the white background of the shirt is solid instead of see-through. "How about this?"

Annabelle nodded and smiled. Gabriel set her on her feet on her bed and Anna proceded to help her put her outfit on. It took only two minutes. "Now I need shoes." Annabelle said.

Anna found her flat black knee-high boots and slipped them on her feet. "How's that?"

The toddler walked to her mirror and examined herself. After a minute she faced her mother smiling. "I LOVE it! I look like you, Mama!"

The couple laughed. "Yes you do." She replied.

"Lets do your hair and we'll grab a quick apple to eat." Gabriel said.

"Ok, Papa." She replied and went to her bed sitting so her back was facing him.

Gabriel picked up a brush from her vanity and brushed her hair. He then proceeded to straighten it and make a small braid on each side of her face. He then pulled the braids around to the back and pinned the ends together with a green beret. "There. Go look."

Annabelle got up and walked over to her mirror again gasping when she saw her reflection. "It's BEAUTIFUL, Papa! Tank you!" She said excitedly and hugged his legs.

He chuckled and picked her up giving her a kiss on the forehead. "You're welcome." He replied and they all went down to the kitchen to each grab an apple and quickly eat.
