More this is something I wrote while finishing off the manga online. Also contains my opinion on Homophobia to an extent. I complained a lot more in reality. Contains implied TrainxSven, cause it is awesome!

Kuro Neko isn't mine, I wouldn't have the time to do anything I like if I was creating it.

Eve ambled her way slowly down the sidewalk, book in her hand and three more in a bag. She had recently discovered that fantasy was excellent brain-rot in a quiet way and some of the harder to find ones were actually very good for being lost for the next half an hour. Punching sounds rang out to her left and a soft pained gasp followed. She sighed quietly, she was beginning to attract trouble as much as Train did, put her book away and went towards the sounds. A secluded group of garbage cans and two high-schooled age bullies met her annoyed eyes.

One of the bullies picked up a scrawny guy and shook him wildly, causing his head to snap back and forth. "We don't have no homosexual bastards around here." The scrawny boy tried to escape, but the other one blocked his path. The first bully lifted his fist to punch his victim in the face, then flew against the wall, courtesy of Eve's hair.

He stood back up, wiping blood from his split lip, "What'dya think your doing, little girl? We was only teaching this gay bitch a lesson about what you don't do here."

Eve curled her lip in a cat-like fashion, "What is so wrong about preferring one of the same gender?"

"It's wrong to for a man to like another man. Maybe not so wrong for women."

Eve smiled in spite of herself, twisting her family's truth just a little. "Try telling that to my fathers, they'd be grumpy."

The bully snarled, "Then you're as bad as he is!"

"For having two male parents who strangely love each other? I'm surprised your rigid ways haven't gotten you in trouble with those who can fight back. And why is only two men together something bad? I would think that people have the right to love who they love."

The second bully attempted to hit the guy she was protecting from behind her sight range, and she shielded him with the hand not holding the book bag. Then her hair punched the first bully again. This time when he hit the wall, he didn't get back up. His face showed a clear picture of unconsciousness. The second bully fled from the girl with the hair that punched people.

Eve turned around and looking at the shaking guy she had just protected. He shivered in his hole, this looked to be because he was soaking wet rather than terrified. It was a nice change since most of the other people she protected from such idiots were scared witless at the sight of her.

"Is that true?"

Eve blinked, "Is what true?"

"That you have two fathers?" Asked the guy. He seemed a little intrigued, if what the idiots attacking him had been claiming, he probably was a little glad to know that there were people like him who were happy together.

"Yes, I do."

"Really? It's rare to find that."

Eve nodded, "I've noticed. People don't seem to accept it as much in small towns. It's rather sad that way."

The guy nodded ruefully, "I'll be more careful if they try to catch me again. Thank you."

Eve lifted a hand in quiet farewell, "Be content."

And at that, she returned to going home, removing her book again. Flipping through the pages to find the place where she stopped, she wondered what argument Train and Sven would be having now. Either the one about Train's eating habits or Sven's liking to save money and avoid debts.

Honestly, they were so predictable and honest in the weirdest ways. Even if Train was more an annoying older brother, she could be glad about the 'parents' she had chosen.
