Teleportation
There was the feeling of the world rushing past her, a terrible howling in her ears as if she was hurdling through the raging winds of a tornado. She couldn't breath, couldn't even form an intelligent thought, her mind gripped by terror. Colors were flashing so quickly before her eyes that it was almost seizure inducing. She clung tight to the body pressed against hers.
And then, as suddenly as it had started, it ended. There came a bright light and her back hit the ground, a gasp escaping her. The world regained its focus. The wind died down to a whisper. Wide-eyed and thoughtless, she lay still, a rumbling echo lingering in her ears. Slowly, the boy on top of her raised himself and a pair of golden eyes looked down at her with concern.
"Amy?"
The sound of his voice returned some sense to her. "Silver..." she breathed.
Despite her uncharacteristic blank expression, he smiled softly in relief. "You're okay?"
"Yeah..." she answered slowly, her head still reeling. "But the next time you see a car speeding at me, either push me out the way or let it hit me. Teleport me again and I'll strangle you."
His smile blossomed into a full grin. "Sure thing."
"Good. I'm going to faint now." And she promptly did so on the city sidewalk.
