He couldn't help but toss and turn. He was officially awake and the time was three am. He always felt this way at times like this. Not the actual time, but when he's with her and he knows he has to leave for a short time but he is still leaving her.
He just watches her while she sleeps. He thinks to himself…
"How can I be so lucky? He stares at her face, no stress lines, no worry lines. She looks so perfect then again that's because she is.
"How can one person be so beautiful?" He gazed down to her arm. Her skin is so soft he melts in her hold.
Then he looks down to her hand, her left hand to be exact. There it is sparkling in the little bit of sunlight that is beaming through the window. The ring that he gave her a little less than a month ago.
"This is it." He thought."In four months he will see his now beautiful fiancée walk down the aisle as his wife. Most importantly she will be known as Summer Belov .
"This is the last trip he has to make for worlds before he retires as a coach, the last time he officially has to leave and she will have to wait two weeks to see him again. Next time he comes back, he'll be home for good."
He stares at her lips seeing a slight smile. He starts to smile because she's happy and that makes him happy.
He feels her moving around so he pretends to be asleep. He felt her stop. He opens his eyes to look at her again and without warning…
Bam her hand hits him right in the face.
"Ouch" he says aloud.
"What's wrong my love?"Summer asks still half asleep.
"Babe you just hit me in the face." He says rubbing his eye.
"I'm sorry." She rolls over and starts peppering his face with kisses.
"Better?"
"Yes. I love you!"
"I love you more hubby to be."
They both smiled then went back to sleep, wrapped in each other's arms where they're supposed to be.
