Short one-shot... Enjoy! :)

"Abby ran the photo through facial recognition", McGee said as he came up to the squad room. He put an USB-stick in his computer and transferred it all up on the plasma. "Lindsey Smith", he said. "Busted in a minor robbery four years ago."

"DiNozzo", Gibbs called.

"Family and background check", Tony replied to the unsaid question. "On it boss."

"Ziva."

"Post, phone records and e-mail."

"McGee."

"Bank accounts and resent withdraws."

All three of them were already on their computers.

"Wow, you really run a tight ship, Gibbs", a female voice said and got them all to look up. A blonde woman in her thirties stood there, smiling at Gibbs.

"Ah, well", Gibbs said. "You know me."

"I certainly do", the woman said.

Tony, Ziva and McGee all shared a surprised glance. Who was this woman?

"What are you doing here, Arizona?" Gibbs asked.

"Arizona?" Tony mouthed to Ziva.

"I'm getting married", the woman – Arizona – smiled and held up a white envelope. "And here's your invitation. I'd really love it if you could come."

She walked up to Gibbs and handed him the letter.

"You came all the way from Seattle to deliver mail?" Gibbs asked.

"Of course not", Arizona said. "I'm here for work. I just thought I would kill two birds with one stone and hand you the invitation. You're really bad at RSVP-ing anyways."

A small grin showed on Gibbs' face.

"So Torres is doing fine?" he asked as he opened the envelope. "And the baby?"

"Yes, they're both fine", Arizona replied. "I take it you heard about the crash?"

"Uhu", Gibbs said as he was reading the card. "I'm glad you're alright."

Arizona nodded.

"That's one way to bring a baby into the world", Gibbs commented.

"What? The three-parent-thing or the delivery part?"

"Both."

"Yeah", Arizona shrugged. "It certainly could've been better. But the kid's adorable, you'll want to meet her."

She handed him her phone, to show him a picture.

"Looks like Torres", Gibbs commented.

"Yeah", Arizona agreed. "Thank God."

Gibbs handed her the phone back.

"But you'll come to the wedding, right?" Arizona asked.

Gibbs just smiled at her and put the invitation in his pocket. Arizona got the point and grinned herself.

A few weeks later, Gibbs sat in one of the back rows in the beautiful outdoors. He watched as the two women stood up in front of their friends and family and vowed to love each other forever. He watched as the military wife shed tears of joy as she watched her daughter, so unlike the ones she had shed when she last saw her son. He watched as her husband's rough expression softened as he saw his daughter's smile. He watched as the brave Timothy Robbins' sister promised her wife, her daughter and herself a lifetime of happiness.

And he smiled.
