Hello to you, my new dairy! My name is Cherry-Bell Wonder and I am an earth filly. Mama says she started a diary when she was my age and it has been one of her greatest friends, so I asked her to buy me you!
I live in Ponyville with mama, papa and my two brothers Mango and Date, I am the only earth pony in my house becuase my brothers and mama are pegasi and papa is a unicorn. Miss Cheerilee says that its because a grandma of mine was one too, but I never got to meet her.
We have only lived here since the start of last winter, so I haven't made any friends yet. Mango and Date got put into Flight School in Cloudsdale, so they haven't been there with me, either. Mango told me that Mama made us move so that they could go to Flight School like she did, but we couldn't move to Cloudsdale because me and papa can't stand on clouds like they can. Papa laughed and told them the flying there every day will improve their scores.
We came to Ponyville when papa got a job at the hospital, he helps keep all of their papers and books in order. Our house is bigger than the one in Percheron Porth, and its much easier for me to sleep here. Back home, there are lots of ponies up before dawn on the docks and in the factories, so I could never sleep well, but it's so quiet here I sleep right til morning.
Next week is the Summer Sun Celebration, and I'm so excited, I've never seen the princess in person before, she's never visited Percheron Porth, and we can't afford to travel all the way to Canterlot to see her there.
Canterlot sounds amazing, doesn't it? It's supposed to be full of giant ivory towers, delicious food and really rich ponies. I can't imagine anypony having enough time on their hands for anything other than work, though. To have so much money they must have to work constantly.
