Prologue
I'm not crazy. Everyone thinks that I am, but, really, I'm not. What they see is nothing more than a broken child. My name is Teddy and I'm just another fuckin' pussy who can't stand up for himself. My body is a map of scars that tell so many stories it ain't funny.
Of course, no one's ever gonna read that map. All they're ever gonna do is glance over, see a few things like my ear and anger, then label me as Crazy. Even my friends….
I know what they think. They think I'm insane; that I'm worthless; that I want to die. They're not wrong all the way…. I even have marks saying just that. Thankfully they can't see much; you see, the marks on my arms are faint and my ear is more distracting than the rest of my face.
Just… I just wish, for once, someone would be able to see all of me and not turn their noses up or their faces away in disgust.
