My second Eva fanfic!! I'm so excited!! This, while in no way like
the last one, will still focus, again, a little on Shinji. However, the
main focus will be on my new character, Daniel. No one shoots anyone, I
swear. (That's not true. but it's not total sadism, really!!) As with all
fanfics, none of the original Evangelion characters are mine, however,
Daniel is, so don't steal him. He is really cool, I know, but please
refrain from taking credit for my character. Okay, so, without further
ado, welcome to Neon Genesis Evangelion: An Alternate Universe! (Danger,
Will Robinson! Spoiler imminent!!)
" So, where's the kid, anyway?" Misato asked as she flew in a large transport plane. They transported the newly found Evangelion Unit 04 high above the ground, inside the plane this time to prevent angel invasion.
" In the cargo hold, with the robot." The pilot replied gruffly, none too thrilled to be piloting the plane that carried the behemoth. "He said he'd feel better there."
Misato hadn't even seen the sixth child yet. When the plane picked her up in L.A., the boy was already on board, and he didn't come out to greet her. " So what's his name?"
" Daniel. Don't know his last name."
" It wasn't in his report?"
" No. And I wasn't too keen on askin'. The commander, that's your higher-up, said that that information was classified."
Why would that be.Misato wondered. She looked at the file that had been given to her by sub-commander Fuyutsuki. The pilot must be right. No last name was listed for the sixth child, Daniel.
"We're landing. Get on the comm. and tell the kid to strap in."
"Right." She picked up the mic. " Daniel, can you hear me?" she asked.
Yes came the static-filled reply.
" Buckle up, okay? We're going to land."

The plane landed, and a small man with a flight schedule came out. Misato exited the plane and was accosted by the man. "You can't land here!! There's no scheduled landing for this time!"
"And you didn't see one." Misato replied, holding up her NERV badge.
" I see. Sorry to bother---what the hell is that?!!" the man exclaimed as a giant silver robot crawled out of the plane, went over to an access shute, knelt, and dropped from sight.
" That, is classified. Besides, it's gone now anyway, so don't worry about it, okay? Alright."
