Chapter 2; The Train

-Recap- Tony and Rosalie are standing in front of the Hogwarts Express.

After gawking at the train for about 5 minutes, we quickly got on and searched for a cabin before the train took part. Finally, we found an empty cabin, placed our luggage in the overhead compartment, and took our seats. We talked and laughed for a few minutes, but not for long because we were soon interrupted by the screech of our cabin door being pulled open. When I turned my head to see who had interrupted our conversation, my heart stopped. It was the boy from the train station; the beautiful one. After a minute, I had to remind myself to breathe.

"Hey, everywhere else is full. Can my friends and I sit in here?" he asked.

"Sure," I managed to choke out, considering I was in a trance. I was so happy. The beautiful boy was going to sit with me. This could not have gone any better. I almost forgot that Tony was there. I glanced over at him, to see if he would object, but he wasn't looking at me. He was looking at a girl with long brown hair standing outside out cabin door.

"I'll be right back, Rose," he muttered. Tony walked out of the cabin leaving me alone with this completely beautiful stranger and his friends. I pulled my legs up to my chest and hugged them to me. The awkward silence was overwhelming. However, I wasn't the first one to break the silence.

"So you're name's Rose is it? You know I've never seen you here before. Are you new?" The beautiful boy asked.

"Well, my full name is Rosalie, Rosalie James, and the boy that just left was my cousin Tony Kurnel. And to answer your other question, yes. I am new to this school, just transferred from London. What's your name?" I asked. He smirked.

"Draco Malfoy, and well then, new girl, I guess I'll just have to show you around the castle…"

I gasped. He paused to look at me, concern in his ice blue eyes.

"What's the matter?" he asked.

"The school…is a c-c-castle?" I asked bewildered by that statement.

He chuckled. The way he looked at me made me feel like I should definitely have known that.

"Yeah, it is. I can't believe you didn't know that. Anyway, I can show you around if you want, after you get sorted into your house."

"Wait, what's a house?" I asked slightly confused.

"In Hogwarts, there are four houses; Slytherin, Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw, and Gryffindor. Hufflepuff is for the shy and more reserved people, Ravenclaw is for the extremely intelligent ones, Gryffindor is for the goody-2-shoes kind of people, the stuck up kind, and Slytherin is for the cunning and sexy, like myself," he grinned, "I'll be right back to get you. I have to change into my robes. We're just about to the castle," he said right before leaving me alone in the cabin. I felt the train come to a halt, so I grabbed my suitcase and squeezed through the crown of teenagers trying to get myself outside. As soon as I was free from the train, I saw the back of Draco's bleach blonde head and raced over to him before I got lost.

"Draco!" I called.

He turned to see who called his name, and his gaze met mine. He smirked.

He walked over to me and grabbed my hand.

"Come on. We're going to go to the Great Hall so you can get sorted into your house. When we get there, you stand with the first years and I'll go to sit at my table."

I tensed at the thought of him leaving me and not knowing at all what to do or where to go. He must have noticed my concern and tightened his grip on my hand.

"Don't worry, Rosalie. I'll be right there at my table watching you. All you have to do is go up on the stage when they call your name, and sit on the stool. It's easy," he soothed. I really hoped he was right. After he walked me to where I needed to stand with the first years, he gave me a sympathetic look, and walked over to his table. I sighed, waiting to be sorted into what I prayed, was Draco Malfoy's house.
