The ocean air made her feel sick to the stomach. It was where he left her, wasn't it? Anko shook her head, hoping to shake away the feelings along with it.

Where was the bastard? She needed to know. She needed to know the damn truth, even if it would kill her.

Anko clenched her fists. Why? How? She could hardly remember anything, and she wanted the truth.

"You lack…"

Anko squeezed her eyes shut, hoping to erase the memories.

"Hate…"

If she was lacking that, she was exceeding with it now. She wanted to kill him with passion. Anko combed a finger through her messy hair, freeing her ponytail until her hair blew in the wind. The salty scent rubbed onto her and her hair stung her eyes.

"Leave her…"

It was if time had stopped when he left. Everything dragged slower. Anko's eyes were like daggers, her heart quickened, and anger invaded her thoughts. She grimaced and glared at the ocean, trying to blame it. She clenched her fists harder now, as if trying to break the air.

"Come with me, Anko…"

Though, Anko now knew that she had chosen to leave him, the information still wasn't enough. It would never be enough. Her thirst for vengeance would never be quenched, until the day he died. No, not even dying. That was too good for him. She wanted to see him suffer.

"Anko you ready? You've been standing there forever," her companion shouted out to her.

"Hold on," she said through gritted teeth. "The ocean air is making me sick to the stomach."

But Anko knew the truth; it wasn't the sea air. It was him.
