Hey! Look! Listen! Hey! Look! Listen!

I opened my eyes to see beautiful rays of sunlight coming into my room.

Hey! Look! Listen!

I look over to see my alarm ringing for school. Summer just ended and my friends made it better by putting up this ringtone.

Hey! Look! Listen!

I reached over and turned it off, got up, and went to get ready for school. I brushed my teeth and went to take a nice shower. I was bathing so peacefully until my 2 friends burst in.

"Good morning, Midori!" my cheerful friend, Nagisa, shouted.

"Good morning as well," my much calmer friend, Keita, said.

"Hi," I simply replied. I stood up and Nagisa had a shocked look on his face.

"What?" I asked.

"Y-y-you're taking a shower wearing a swimsuit again!" Nagisa said. It was true. "Why are you wearing that?!"

"Because I always know you guys barge in without knocking,"

"That's because you don't answer!"

"Yeah, yeah, whatever."

I turned off the water and got out of the bathtub. Nagisa and Keita stared in agape.

"What?" I asked.

"Your green hair looks so luscious in the light when it's wet, right? Keita?" Nagisa said.

"Yeah, it does actually," Keita agreed.

We all went downstairs after we were ready and started walking to school.

"I wish I could live alone like you guys," Keita said. "Must be nice."

"But don't just love your sisters?" Nagisa said.

Nagisa and I laughed as Keita blushed. Nagisa and I lived alone. But not together in one house! Keita still lived under the same roof as his mom and dad and his twin sisters, Ako and Riko, who love Keita, like love-love you know? But they aren't related by blood. I have to admit, if I actually liked girls, they would be pretty cute.

We passed by Keita's house and saw Ako and Riko were just getting ready to leave for school as well.

"Good morning!" Ako cheerfully said.

"Good morning," Riko said tons calmer.

I always get this feeling that those two like someone other than Keita. Nagisa also gets that feeling.

We all walked to school together. I stared at Riko. Honestly, I like her better than Ako. Ako's way too cheerful, like Nagisa.

"Hey, Midori," Nagisa said.

"What?"

"Your 17 years old now. Couldn't you just drive us to school?"

"Not enough gas to make the trip."

"Oh. That makes more sense."

We got to school, finally.

"Welcome to the New Age, to the New Age," Nagisa sang.

"He's right," Keita said. "We're finally seniors."

School started and we got our schedules. We all conveniently got into history class at the same period.

Hmm.., I thought Senior year… this will be the start of a new chapter…
