Summary/Prologue
A few thousand years ago, Asgard was threatened by an exiled Eternal who went by the name Thanos. In exchange for peace, Thanos made the stipulation that the Odin All-Father must give up one of his sons for however long was agreed upon. Odin conceded and gave his youngest, Loki, to the Titan, unaware that the creature had an alliance with a race known on Midgard as the Fae.
The Fae were of an immortal race of creature from a different dimension, they came to Midgard in hopes of garnering the planet for themselves, only to find that it was already in inhabited by a primitive race known as Man. The Seelie Queen decided that they would share this world, though the race of Fae would be in hiding. They fell into legend, as a devious, yet beautiful race, but to the light courts of the Seelie, there were the dark courts of the Unseelie.
The Unseelie were the darker counterparts to the Seelie – they were twisted of limbs and hideous of continence. Their King, who used to rule alongside the Seelie Queen, and his kin were sealed away in a icy world filled with darkness. And they were forgotten, their relics, were scattered.
Neither were aware that one day the King and his kin would be free once again, thanks to an exiled Eternal. Striking a contract, they would spread darkness and bring forth what the Norseman of Old used to refer to as Ragnarok.
And it would come at the hands of Loki, a Prince of Asgard, a King of Jotunheim by birthright, a soldier of the Exiled Eternal, and the Unseelie Kings Vengeance.
The Norns Urd, Verdandi, Skuld saw this. And in hopes of preventing it, they sought out the Seelie Queen. In retaliation the Seelie Queen could do nothing, for it was not within her power, but perhaps she could save his soul.
In his dreams she would send to him a woman, his souls match, in hopes that in someway that love could stave off the darkness, until it was time for them to meet.
Only time could tell how this story ends...
