Forever You Will Dream Of Me.

Tonight was like any other night. Sleep until dusk and then roam the lands. Searching for something that would feed this endless hungry. Always looking for a part that is missing. A part that perhaps dawn is holding? Either way dusk would always bring forth the hunt, the searching. But once the dusk began to fade and the searching was over, only then could the missing part be found. Parts of a time long since pasted. Parts that no normal human could grasp, nor would they want to. For these parts were seek out by creatures that lost their innocents, and now answered to no one, not even Luther him self.

This was the way the Gabriel had been taught. That no matter the difference in time or place that an emptiness would always remain. It was believed that that it, the emptiness, was a emotion left over from ones human life. But as one, such as Gabriel, grew older and became higher within the ranks such foolishness was dismissed. Commoners and low ranking hunters in the order, that believed in such things was caused by not accepting their fates. Or so the elders believed. Gabriel wasn't one to argue with the laws, and yet after 200 years of being a hunter he wasn't sure if the elders were all known as they believed they were. For Gabriel the parts that haunted him, was of the old world. When hunters, such as he, were believed not to exist. Where humans ruled each land, with their pitiful laws and so forth.

Parts when he, Gabriel, was nothing more than a mere human. Those were what haunted him. Being human, as disgusting as it was, was not what filled his dawn hours. No it wasn't so simple. Instead it was filled with him as spotlight figure. One that pushed his body to extremes, just, or that's how it seemed, for others pleasure. Disgusting it was. Just the thought of him wanting to please low creatures like humans made him sick. But yet, back then, he seemed to love it. He was sure that these parts he was remembering was something not to be taken lightly. Parts this strong were a sign, even the elders would agree with this. And yet something was warning him that if he was not careful, these parts would be his undoing.

Not really the parts themselves, but the people within them. People that could, if they still existed, defeated him. And for the sake of fires of hell he would not let that happen. No Gabriel had worked to hard to become the lord that he now was. He had spent to much time feeling the fires of hell to give up his power for mere humans. Besides the only way to turn a hunter back to a human was something that he, nor any other hunter, believed in.

True love

Emotions were not something that hunters felted. Nor did they give any, and yet in some part of Gabriel, in a forbidden part, he remembered a sweet voice whispering his human name.
