Pearl was exhausted. She had spent a whole day working on a peace treaty with Olympus. She was expected to have fallen in love with the Sky prince, Jason and when she didn't Zeus was angry. Jason was awesome but he just wasn't the one. Everyone Pearl knew had found their special someone. For the mermaids love was a very important subject. If your special someone wasn't in love with you then you'd turn to bubbles, like the princess Ariel from the old fish tales. No one knew if there was truth to her story though. Aside from the other kingdoms king Pearl also had to deal with her half brother from the late Lady Amphrite. Triton was determined to make life for her hard as possible. Pearl fell asleep easily not knowing her 'special someone' was one crazy adventure away.
