Raphael could hear the steady beat of the music get louder as he got closer to his destination. He crouched at the edge of the roof scanning the building across from him. A small smirk grew on his mouth when he found the window he was looking for open, the drapes fluttering lightly from the breeze.

Boxes were pushed against the walls of the living room, creating an open space in the middle which was currently occupied by a woman. Her dark curly hair was pulled up into a high pony. Raph's hands twitched as he felt the desperate need to rake his hands through her hair. His thoughts quickly turned as her hips started to sway to the quickening music, finally she turned so he could see her face.

Like every night he came up here and watched her dancing his breath caught in his throat. Full lips stood out from her tanned skin, hinting at many hours outside in the world he could never roam freely.

Jealously coursed through him. It wasn't fair. How the world kept him away from her. From her touch. Her laughter. Her smile. Her love. Raph shook his head, he wouldn't allow dark thoughts to cloud his mind tonight. His attention turned back to the dancing spectacle who was now moving intently to the music.

Each move was fluent, flowing into another causing Raph to fall into a trance. He loved how easily she could make him forget his current problems and go into a bittersweet bliss. Suddenly she stopped and slowly walked to the window, a soft smile on her face.

As she leaned out the window causing the light from within to give her hair a halo like effect, entrancing Raph further. Her light grey eyes met his fiery amber, an incline from her head startled him. Confused the red-banded turtle jumped to the fire escape next to her window.

He found her holding her arms out to him, a warm invitation he only dreamed of. Without a second thought he climbed through the window to meet her embrace. He was inches away from touching her when an obnoxious sound blared out through the apartment.

Bewildered he jumped away from the woman only to cry out in despair to find she had disappeared. Slowly the apartment started to fade and Raph found himself falling into blackness.

His body jerked awake and his hand automaticly shut the alarm clock off beside his bed, it's flashing red numbers reading 7:00. With a sigh Raph fell back on his bed, "Damn, just another dream."
