Chapter 1
Poka-who?
He woke up. Tom was so excited. It was his 10th Birthday and he was going to start his pokemon journey. He had already decided what pokemon he was gong to choose. He would have the newly discovered Pokabu, the fire pig, who was recently released into the wild in Hashmish. The other choices were the water turtle, squirtle, and the grass pokemon, chikorita. Tom loved pokemon. His father was the third gym leader, in Spechy town. So Tom had learnt about type advantages, EV training, Ect. He had grew up with pokemon running around the house all the time, so he was ready for anything. He had even been haunted by a gastly once!
Tom got up out of bed. He put his black shorts and his red t shirt on. Then he proceeded to add a black and yellow jacket. He spiked his hair up with his favourite gel into a miniture mohican and put his white and green adidas trainers on. He grabbed his backpack he filled the night before and left after saying a quick goodbye to his mum. He proceeded to Proffesor Rees's Lab.
"Well, hello there young man, how may i help you today?" said the proffesor. He was an old man with grey hair covering his large head. He wore huge glasses that nearly covered his entire head. He sported a big, white moustache below his big pointed nose and he had a pimple just above his chin.
"I here to get my starter pokemon proffesor, i told you yesterday!" Tom shouted. The proffesor was a bit deaf.
"Oh yes, i remember. So,eh,which one was it you wanted?"
Tom sighed "Pokabu please"
"Umm, ok, but i must warn you, we don't know the extent of its powers yet, we don't even know if it evolves!"
"Don't worry sir, i can handle it!"
"Ok, here is your pokemon. Have a safe journey." He handed Tom a pokeball with a flame above the circle. A shot of Red light shot out of the ball. A red figure,small and pig like, materialised into the room. It had a long curly tail and was an orangey/red colour.
"Pokiii!" Grunted Pokabu.
"Cool, now i have a pokemon." Said Tom," Time to start my pokemon journey!"
