Ash is now home from the Kalos region. He's finally won a championship title, he still has the elite four battles but the elite four are very busy people so the battles are in a while. He now has some time now to relax and take it all in. Ash is now going down the same road as many times before, after losing the Indigo League, silver conference, Orange Islands, Ever Grande Conference, Lilly of the Valley Conference, the Vertress conference, and finally the Kalos League is where he won it. It's the same road, and it hasn't changed but he has throughout these years.
Many traveling companions have come and go with him throughout all these paths; Misty, the first one he ever met, Brock, the first best friend he ever had and first gym badge ever! Then came Tracey, May, Max, Dawn, Iris, Cilan, Clemont, Bonnie and Serena.
They all hold amazing places in Ash's heart, but the original trio holds number one. He looks forward to seeing them whenever they can but with Misty being the main gym leader in Cerulean City she's really busy.
"Well, lets go see everyone at Professor Oak's lab, Pikachu!" Ash said to his little buddy and they both ran off to Pallet town.
"Hi Mom, I'm home!" Ash yelled out when he came in his house after being at Professor Oak's lab. He tossed his bag to the side of the green couch in his living room.
"You might want to stick around! Dinner is almost ready, when you called from the layover in Hoenn I started cooking!" Delia announced from the kitchen.
"OH! I also forgot, you have a visitor."
Almost instantly a voice came through," Hey Ash!"
"Pika-Pika!" Pikachu jumped over to Misty's arms, Misty grabbed Pikachu instantly.
"Misty!" Ash yelled out in surprise he then went over to her and hugged her. The gesture caught Misty off-guard. They haven't seen each other in so long, and he wasn't touchy the last time she remembered.
"How was the Professor's lab?" She asked while petting Pikachu, Pikachu loves getting petted by Misty, more than any of the other traveling companions.
"OK." Ash stated.
He's been at his desk trying to thank Misty for giving his mom some help while he's been gone, and also because Gary teased how much Misty likes him, and Ash has never had time before to tell her how he feels.
His feelings aren't complicated like others think, he isn't blind, he's chosen to feel this way only to Misty.
"It's been hours, he's been trying to write a letter since she has already gone back to Cerulean City.
"Ash! You should go to bed!" Delia hollered from the first floor all the way to his bedroom. He's at his night stand trying to figure it all out.
"Okay" Ash stated while still working on it hunched over. He then went to his bed and went to sleep to think about it.
"I got the perfect idea!" Ash woke up with a great idea. One of his dreams was him and Misty near the water, having a good time with music playing.
Ash doesn't know much about music though, so he heads straight to the first person he could think of; Tracey. He is an artist, so he must be good at music by a little bit since its considered art, right?
Tracey helped Ash make the song, Tracey only knows how to play the guitar but he more so helped Ash with the scale and some lyrics. The end result was so Ash, and so Misty as well. The two blended together made the song 'I Want To Write You A Song' (if you wanna listen it's by One Direction).
Ash put the music score and the lyrics sheet in an envelope and has Misty's address on it, with Ash's on the side and a stamp on the other. He put the letter in a mailbox and waits the day Misty calls him up about it. He can't wait to that day, and until then he will get Tracey to play it for him.
